So, I guess I will now.
I was playing by my self, I was walking, and I was sinking birdies. I was playing incredibly.
3 birdies in a round ties my best birdie round.
Birdied 2 of the last 3 holes as well as #2, which is long par 5 with water everywhere.
Had 5 pars in a row at one point on the back 9.
Finished the back 9 even par. That was the first time I shot even par through 9.
It was the first time I broke 80.
Through the last 8 holes, I was 1 under par.
Seven pars on the day.
Two double bogies.
Six bogies.
43 front 9 and 36 on the back.
The thing I took away from this round is that I definitely feel like I could have done better. I was sloppy on the front 9.
Since my 79, I've been 2 over through 8 and 3 over through 8—I was on track for a 75 or a 76.
Definitely, I'm feeling like I can have an even lower scoring round. It's a matter of keeping it together mentally.
