Don't tase me, bro!!

When I first saw the dude getting tazed at the John Kerry speech, I was horrified. But they kept showing it over and over, and the more I saw him go, "Don't tase me, bro!!" ...the funnier it got in a sad, pathetic, decline of western civilization because no gives a shit about their fellow human beings sort of way.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised at this point, if someone made a t-shirt saying:

Don't taze me, bro!!

I think it's sick Americans haven't banned together to ban the use of tasers. They're fucking sick!

Sometimes I like to tune in to watch the Texas Rangers just long enough to see them blow a 3 run lead.

Seriously, I love all Dallas sports teams. I really do.

Is it too much to ask for the Texas Rangers to win at least one World Series every decade? Just one World Series a decade is all I'm asking.

I'm so sick of the, "Oh well, there's always next season," approach to Dallas baseball.

It starts with pitching, obviously. The Rangers need some great pitchers, and they need to hang on to them.

We don't seem to have a problem getting great offensive players. We get great players like Michael Young, who may very be a Hall of Famer, but why in the hell would he want to stay here when we keep losing--it's likely he's going to ask to be traded to a team that's got it's act together, and that's a trajedy.

When it comes to filling up the bullpen with talented young players, I don't know why things always seem to fizzle out. It's been like this for my entire life, literally. And, yes, I have literally been frustrated by the Texas Rangers my entire life. I just want to see them win.

I've grown up watching the Rangers. I went to the Nolan Ryan games. I attended the games when the Yankees swept them in the playoffs. Hell, I was just happy they made it to the playoffs for once.

Actually, I would be satisfied if the Rangers made a couple of deep playoff runs. They don't need to become a dynasty like the Yankees although it would be nice if the Rangers knocked them out once or twice. That's what I'd like to see happen.

Harold and Maude is still one of the sweetest love stories of all time

Everything from the Cat Stevens sound track, to Harold's morbid hearse driving, to Maude's wacked out behavior.

What makes it more interesting is that it was made in 1971. It has an alternative feel to it that was way ahead of it's time. There have been tons of films, who have kind of imitated this films quirkyness.

Perhaps, it's time to make a remake. I think this story had an unusual message about love--as soon as I figure out what it was, I'll add to this entry.

It's a delightful film.
